Hyundai sales up by 5.1 per cent in February 2018

Hyundai India has dispatched 44,505 units of their passenger cars to dealers across India – that´s 5.1 per cent more than the units sold in February 2017. With 10,917 units exported, the total number of dispatches sum up to 55,422 units last month.

Hyundai had launched the new Elite i20 at the Auto-Expo 2018, giving it added arsenal to fight against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno to reclaim the premium hatchback crown. On the other hand, the Hyundai Grand i10 has been ringing in more than ten thousand units every month steadily for the past couple of years.

The new Hyundai Verna has also been impressive, winning the Indian Car of the year award and is fighting hard in the family sedan segment. The Creta has been the highest seller by a margin in its segment and the facelift is also expected to arrive soon.
