- 2026 launch likely
- Possible interior revamp
The Hyundai i20 hatchback is due for a mid-life refresh. The updated Tata Altroz rival will likely launch in 2026. Fresh spy shots hint at what the upcoming hatch would look like.
Albeit wrapped, the new Hyundai i20 has an overall curvy silhouette. What seems to be protruding out of the ORVMs could possibly be a part of the 360-degree camera module.
Expected Features
The new i20 should get a cosmetic overhaul and functional modifications to keep pace with the competition. Similar to the Tata Altroz Facelift, the interior may get a revised cabin and two 10.25-inch screens. Features like 360-degree camera, sunroof, advanced telematics, and connected car tech may be bundled in the top-spec variants.

Powertrain
The new i20 will likely remain mechanically unchanged, carrying over the same 1.2L NA engine and 5MT/IVT systems. The same will also spawn an N Line iteration with 1.0L TGDi + 6MT/7DCT systems.
