Hyundai Creta 1.6 diesel E+ and EX variants discreetly introduced, prices start at Rs 10.87 lakhs

- Creta 1.6-litre diesel variant now available in entry-level trims

- Features remain same as the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel counterparts

Hyundai India has discreetly launched two new variants in the Creta line-up, with prices starting at Rs 10.87 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 1.6-litre diesel-powered unit is now available in the lower trims including E+ and EX, with prices starting at Rs 10.87 lakhs and Rs 11.90 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) respectively.

Prior to the launch, the Hyundai Creta E+ and EX trims were offered only with the 1.6-litre petrol engine and 1.4-litre diesel engine. Apart from the new engine option, the feature list of the Creta 1.6-litre diesel E+ and EX trims remain the same as offered in the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel variants.

With the addition of the new trims, the entry-level Hyundai Creta trims are now available with three engine options including the 1.6-litre petrol unit, 1.6-litre diesel unit and the 1.4-litre diesel unit. These engines are paired to a six-speed manual transmission in the E+ and EX trims.
