Hyundai India has introdued a Lounge Edition for the Alcazar SUV at a base price of Rs. 21.81 lakh. Interestingly, this is for the first time that we see a five-seat layout with the Alcazar. The SUV features a Hyundai Rear Seat Experience (RSE) package, which brings a set of visual changes.
The primary highlight of the RSE package is the inclusion of an 11.6-inch screen added on the front seatback, which can stream OTT content and video, support games and phone mirroring, has a dedicated app store, and it is also paired with an eight-speaker BOSE sound system. A Golden Bronze exterior colourway, black front and rear skid plates and side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar, roof rails, and ORVM garnish, matte-black alloys, silver interior inserts, Moonwhite ambient light, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, and a new seat design with lounge branding with cushions in the rear seat are introduced in this edition.
Mechanically, the Alcazar Lounge is a diesel-exclusive variant, and the engine churns out 114bhp/250Nm, and it is based on the top-of-the-line Signature variant.
