Honda WR-V introduces new diesel ‘V’ variant, priced at Rs 9.95 lakhs

Honda India has launched a new diesel ‘V’ variant in the WR-V for a price of Rs 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Additionally, the company has updated the existing S and VX variants with a new set of features.  There is also a considerable hike in prices across trims with the feature update. The newly introduced V grade, available in Diesel, is positioned between the S and VX grade and is equipped with premium exterior features like headlamp integrated signature LED DRLs and position lamps, front fog lamps, turn indicators on ORVM, gunmetal finish R16 multi-spoke alloy wheel, chrome door handles and rear micro antenna.    

The WRV-V V-diesel gets black and silver upholstery, a 17.7cm touchscreen infotainment with AVN, steering mounted controls for HFT, audio, voice command and cruise control, automatic climate control, one push Start/Stop button with white and red illumination, Honda Smart Key system with keyless remote, front centre armrest with a storage console, tilt and telescopic power steering (EPS).

As for safety, the V variant continues to be offered with Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE TM) Body Structure, Dual SRS Front airbags, Anti-lock Brake system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), rear parking sensor, front  passenger seat belt reminder, high-speed alert, pedestrian injury mitigation technology, intelligent pedal (Brake Over Ride System) and a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines.

In addition to the existing features, the ‘S’ grade in petrol and diesel guise now get gunmetal finish R16 muti-spoke alloy wheels, auto AC with touch control panel, fog lamps, speed sensing auto door locks and jackknife retractable key. Additionally, the trim gets driver side window one touch Up/ Down operation with pinch guard.

The updated ‘VX’ grade now gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel and speed sensing auto door lock. The S and the VX trim both offer vanity mirror with lid in the driver as well as passenger side sun visors and safety features like - rear parking sensors, front passenger seat belt reminder and high speed alert.

1.2L i-VTEC VX MT- Rs 9.25 lakhs
