Honda Cars India recently announced that its mid-size SUV, the Elevate, achieved the 1 lakh unit cumulative sales milestone. The model, manufactured at the brand’s facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan, is sold not just in India but also exported to international markets, including Japan, South Africa, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Honda revealed key sales trends for the Indian market during the aforementioned announcement. According to the company, 53 per cent of Elevate owners opted for the top-end ZX variant, which is equipped with an ADAS suite, among other key features. Similarly, 79 per cent of customers went ahead with the CVT trim, which is offered in three variants, including V, VX, and ZX.

Coming to the colour palette, the Platinum Pearl White paint of the Elevate alone accounted for 35.1 per cent of its demand, followed by Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Obsidian Blue Pearl, amassing a share of 19.9 per cent, 15.4 per cent, and 15.3 per cent respectively. All other colours, such as Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl registered a cumulative share of 14.3 per cent.
