Honda Cars India has refreshed the City sedan lineup with a new Sport Edition, priced at Rs. 14.89 lakh. This new version will be sold in limited numbers, and features some interior and exterior upgrades, making it unique among the other variants of the City. That said, just a few days after its launch, the City Sport has started reaching showrooms across the country.
Mechanically, the City Sport remains unchanged, with the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine doing the duty. Having said that, the Sport edition is only available with a CVT gearbox. In this state of tune, the City produces 119bhp and 145Nm of peak torque.
As for the colour options, the City Sport can be had in three exterior paint hues – Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic. Coming to the changes, the City Sport gets blacked-out treatments to the grille, spoiler, shark fin antenna, ORVMs, and alloy wheels. Then there’s a Sport badge on the tailgate. Furthermore, there’s ambient lighting and leatherette finish for the seats, steering, and the gear knob.
