Japanese car manufacturer Honda has hiked prices for the City, BR-V and the CR-V in India. The company attributes the increase in prices to the cess hike in GST, which is effective from 11 September 2017. The prices for the Brio, Jazz, Amaze and WR-V however remain unaffected for now.
Post the revision in prices, the City sedan price hike ranges from Rs 11,836-Rs 18,713 in petrol and Rs 14,951-Rs 18,791 for the diesel. The hike in prices for the BR-V ranges from Rs 12,490 – Rs 16,994 for petrol and Rs 15,631 - Rs 18,242 for the diesel version. Interestingly, prices for BR-V’s S MT petrol variant and E MT diesel variant remains unchanged. The Honda CR-V price hike ranges between Rs 75,304 – Rs 89,069.
