- Secures four stars in Child Occupant Protection
- Rivals the Maruti Dzire that also has a full five-star BNCAP rating
The Honda Amaze has secured an impressive safety score in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. Tested in 2025, the compact sedan earned a five-star rating for Adult Occupant Protection, scoring 28.33 out of 32, along with a four-star rating for Child Occupant Protection at 40.81 out of 49. These results apply to the V, VX, and ZX variants of both the manual and CVT versions.
In adult protection, the Amaze performed strongly across both major impact evaluations. It scored 14.33 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test, and 14 out of 16 in the side movable deformable barrier test. The structure offered good protection levels, complemented by standard equipment such as frontal airbags, belt pre-tensioners, load limiters, curtain airbags, and ESC. All tested variants were manufactured in India, with a tested weight of 1,241kg.

Child occupant protection was another highlight, with the Amaze posting a combined 40.81-point score through strong results in dynamic testing (23.81 out of 24), and a perfect 12 out of 12 CRS installation score.
Honda has equipped all variants with essential safety features as standard, including ESC, side head protection system with curtain airbags, pedestrian protection technology, and seat belt reminders.
Notably, its direct rival, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, has also achieved a full five-star rating under the same BNCAP crash test.
