The special edition is based on the S (O) version of the standard Amaze sedan. While the engine options remain the same, Honda has brought in some cosmetic changes and new features to differentiate it from the regular car. A new driver’s arm rest has been added as a part of this package.

Prospective buyers will also benefit from a Digipad, which is a new 17.7cm infotainment system with audio, video and navigation support. It remains to be the highlight as it features built-in satellite linked 3D Navigation, internal memory of 1.5GB and mirror link support with smartphone compatibility. Furthermore, it can also provide internet access through a Wi-Fi receiver. The latter, however, will have to be purchased as an add-on. It should be noted that this system does not come paired to a rear-view camera but gets parking sensors as a standard.

This new Honda Amaze ‘Privilege Edition’ has been introduced to offer buyers some advanced features with assertive styling. Since it is based on the S (O) grade, it will continue to get features like dual Airbags, ABS (in diesel trim), electrically-adjustable ORVMs, steering-mounted controls, driver seat height-adjuster, digital AC controls, amongst other features as standard. The Privilege edition costs Rs 10,000 over the standard S (O) MT grade and provides some exclusivity to the prospective buyers.
