- Uniform hike across all variants
- New prices start at Rs. 7.48 lakh
The Honda Amaze, one of the most VFM propositions in the sub-Rs. 10 lakh segment, has now undergone a price hike. The Maruti Dzire rival has now received a uniform upward revision of Rs. 6,990, giving it fresh tags of Rs. 7,47,790 (base) and Rs. 9,99,900 (top-spec ZX CVT).
The Amaze gets three variants: V, VX, and ZX. With a 1.2L four-cylinder NA motor tuned to churn out 88bhp/110Nm, this setup is paired with 5MT/CVT systems. Highlighting features include a signature Honda grille, wraparound headlamps, eight-inch display, wireless charging pad, seat back pockets, and a 416-litre boot.
While Japanese cars are typically engineered for longevity, skimping out on features is imperative, given the focus on drivability and reliability. However, the Amaze offers something that its segment doesn't - Level 2 ADAS. Additional vanities include automatic climate control, large infotainment system, and USB-A and type-C ports. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminder systems, and a speed alert system come in as standard.
