Gerrari, the Indian off-roaders to qualify and participate in the Malaysian Rain Forest Championship, have won the JK Tyre Orange 4x4 Orange Fury event held in Arunachal Pradesh. Coming in second was AON from Nagaland followed by the local team MOCA.

Kabir Waraich and Gurmeet Singh Virdi along with Yuvraj Tiwana and Dushyant Khosla delivered a comprehensive performance over the stages to take the lead on Day 2 and finish on the top at the end of the event. The Orange 4x4 Fury saw great participation from local teams as off-roading enthusiasts from the entire north-east region lined up for the event.

Angulie Vupru and Sathish Kumar co-driven by Neiketoulie Meyase and Yanren Jamio from the Association of Offroaders, Nagaland (AON) also fought tooth and nail in all stages including the tough forest stages on the final day for a deserving second place.

Local boys, Miranjeet Choudhury and Tsengtsing along with Purabjyoti Choudhury and Jeninder Mantaw rallied ahead with the local crowd cheering them. Finishing third overall, team MOCA clinched the final spot on the podium.
