Volkswagen recently opened a new dealership in Coimbatore, which is their first digital experience centre. The carmaker is in process of opening more such outlets across the country. Here are the four most essential things you need to know about the new set-up.
The world is going digital and many carmakers are also making progress in their transition to the digital world. The new outlet propagates minimal use of paper and shares information through digital channels and informative screens.
The new Volkswagen Coimbatore showroom features a 200 sq. ft. screen to display virtual images of the entire Volkswagen product line-up. The upcoming dealerships will also be equipped with such digital screens. These mirror iPads so that customers get a better look and feel of the products.
Self-learning digital Kiosks
The new showrooms will also get self-learning digital kiosks. This enables potential buyers to explore products themselves. Nonetheless, professionally trained personnel will also be present to assist customers in their buying decision.
Lounge and Cafe facility
The set-up also features a lounge and café facility within the dealership. It is aimed to provide customers the convenience, the space to relax and also experience the brand and products at leisure.
Volkswagen has presently restricted this new digital experience set-up to new centres only. However, we can expect the carmaker to revamp the current outlets with the same methodology. It will provide a digital car buying experience to all buyers across the country.
