- Pre-bookings open at Rs 11,000 from today
- The Go and Go+ CVT will be launched in October in two trims
Datsun India has begun with the pre-bookings for the Go and Go Plus CVT trims at Rs 11,000 today. This is a refundable amount that can be paid at any authorised Datsun/Nissan dealership across India.
The new Datsun Go and Go Plus models continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. However, instead of churning out 67bhp and 104Nm of peak torque, there's a hike in power of 9bhp. Apart from the five-speed manual gearbox as standard, the new T and T(O) variants will be available in an optional CVT transmission.
Both the cars continue with the stylish makeover they received in October 2018 along with new features. Yet, interestingly, the Go and Go Plus will now be the first cars in their respective segments to offer a CVT gearbox. All the variant-wise prices and specifications will be available in the coming month, when they will be officially launched.
