The Citroen Aircross Dark Edition has been launched in India at Rs. 13.13 lakh. It’s available in the fully loaded top-spec Max variant and with both AT and MT options. This is the first time that Citroen has launched a Dark Edition for its cars. We have detailed the top highlights for the Basalt and C3 Dark, here is everything you need to know about the Citroen Aircross.

Exterior Highlights
Like the C3 and the Basalt, the Aircross Dark Edition gets a full black exterior paint scheme with silver highlights in the front and rear bumpers. The paint scheme is called carbon black. While it is black, the alloy wheels remain unchanged and are the same 17-inch units offered with the standard car. A modified design or black paint scheme on them would have added to the overall appearance of the vehicle.

Interior Highlights, Feature List
The standard car gets a beige and black cabin while this special edition gets an all-black cabin with orange stitching on the seats, dashboard and doors. This is the same design pattern provided for the C3 and Basalt Dark Editions. In terms of features, the Dark Edition is based on the top-spec Max variant and thus gets climate control with rear vents, a digital cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, LED headlights, power mirrors and power windows.

Powertrain Options
The only engine on offer is Citroen’s 1.2-litre turbo petrol producing 109bhp and 190Nm in six-speed MT guise and 109bhp and 205Nm in six-speed AT guise.
