- 1.2L NA motor
- Gets ventilated front seats
A little over a month after Suzuki charted out a powertrain roadmap for international markets, the carmaker showcased the Fronx Flex-Fuel Vehicle (FFV) at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Given the gradual shift towards green mobility to reduce emissions and reach net-zero carbon output, the carmaker aims to take things a notch higher than E20 compatibility.

The Fronx FFV uses the same 1.2L NA petrol motor its existing iteration, albeit with FFV-specific optimisations. The showcased model sports a green decal and a chunky ‘Suzuki Flex Fuel’ badge. We can also see a dual-tone interior finish, and the addition of ventilated front seats.

The existing iterations of the India-spec Fronx get 1.0L turbo petrol (99bhp/148Nm), 1.2L NA (88bhp/113Nm), and 1.2L NA+CNG (76bhp/98.5Nm), paired either with 5MT/5AT/6AT systems. The FFV iteration is likely to come to India.
