The BYD Atto 3 has been on sale in India since November 2022 and since then it has been updated once. The updated model, launched in July last year, received more features and new exterior colour options. Now, BYD has unveiled another update for the EV although the upgrades are more significant this time. The new Atto 3 is expected to be launched in India eventually.
On the outside, the new Atto 3 gets slight revisions to the front end, the alloy wheel design, and the roof spoiler. The rear bumper has also been redesigned while the taillights feature completely new internals for a new look.
In terms of tech upgrades, the ADAS now consists of multiple camera modules, five long-range cameras, multiple surround-view cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, and five mm-wave radars. All of this would help in making the ADAS more effective and more user-friendly under tricky situations. The new Atto 3 is likely to continue with a 60.5kWh LFP battery pack. The front-mounted electric motor makes around 200hp and 310Nm of torque.
