BYD India unveiled the all-new SUV based on the Seal, the Sealion 7 at the Auto Expo 2025. Now, the Chinese manufacturer is all set to announce the prices of the new electric SUV on 17 February, 2025. The bookings for the same are already underway for a token amount of Rs. 70,000.
The BYD Sealion 7 will be offered in two variants, namely, Premium and Performance. While the former is an RWD version, the latter being the top-spec, will be AWD with all the bells and whistles. Some of the feature highlights include a 15.6-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, panoramic glass roof, ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, digital instrument panel, dual-zone climate control, 11 airbags, and 12 12-speaker music system.
The BYD Sealion 7 is powered by an 82.56kWh battery pack, which has a claimed driving range of up to 567km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Performance variant is capable of producing 523bhp and 690Nm of peak torque. In this guise, the Sealion 7 can sprint from zero to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds.
