BMW India recently launched a limited-edition Z4 roadster. The Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition is offered in both manual and automatic versions, priced at Rs. 97.90 lakh and Rs. 96.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The Z4 caters to a niche segment, and the limited edition makes it even more exclusive. Here are images that detail the changes made to the special edition.
BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition Picture Gallery
The BMW Z4 special edition is available in two green colour shades. This includes Frozen Deep Green and Sanremo Green, which are different from the existing shades in the standard colour palette.
The Pure Impulse Edition boasts M Light Alloy wheels specially designed for this model. These are 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch ones at the rear.
M Sport brake callipers painted in red metallic, black ORVMs, and a ‘High Gloss Shadowline’ are the other highlights of the limited edition.
Inside, the Z4 comes equipped with a new High Gloss Black trim, Leather Vernasca Cognac upholstery, M sport seats, and an M leather steering wheel.
The biggest USP of the Z4 is the soft top, which can be raised or lowered in 10 seconds. It provides a nice open-roof driving experience.
Other features include a Harman Kardon sound system, two-zone automatic climate control, parking assistant, adaptive LED headlights, high beam assist, and a head-up display.
Powertrain
Powering the BMW Z4 M40i is a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo, six-cylinder engine that produces 335bhp and 500Nm torque. The engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
