- Positioned as the new top-spec variant
- Costs Rs. 2 lakh more than the xDrive 20 trim
BMW India has launched the new 30 xDrive M Sport Pro variant of the X3 in India at Rs. 74.50 lakh, ex-showroom. Positioned as the new range-topping petrol derivative, it commands a premium of Rs. 2 lakh over the xDrive 20 trim and is priced on par with the xDrive 20d variant.

The X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is powered by a 2.0-litre, four cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 258bhp and 400Nm of torque. The motor comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission along with a 48-volt mild hybrid system and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive technology. BMW claims a 0 to 100 kmph sprint time of 6.3 seconds, making it the quickest X3 currently on sale in India.
Visually, the 30 xDrive M Sport Pro distinguishes itself with a new grille featuring black inserts and illumination. It also gets M Sport brakes with red callipers and larger 20-inch alloy wheels, replacing the 19-inch units seen on lower trims. The headlamps and tail lamps feature a smoked treatment exclusive to this variant.

Inside, the changes are subtle. The cabin now gets M seat belts and revised soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door pads. Feature highlights include a panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and powered front sport seats with memory and ventilation functions.

The BMW X3 continues to rival the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, and Lexus NX.
