The demand for seven-seater cars has not really picked up in India, but there certainly is a demand. We need people movers, and if we can accommodate our large families in one car, why not? It gets decent features with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. It's even got a four-star GNCAP rating.

But it's primarily known for its three-row seating, as the carmaker has managed to utilise the space inside, while keeping the footprint compact. The last row of seats can even be completely taken out, maximising space and making it a five-seater with a big boot. All in all, it is a five- or seven-seater, as and when convenient.

5. Kia Carens Clavis (On-road Price Rs. 13.69 – 25.64 Lakh)

In fact, now there's the Carens Clavis, which is a step up with revised looks and more features, including an ADAS suite. Given that Kia has reduced the number of variants of the Carens, we think it will easily make way for the Clavis as the mainstream model.
