The Audi RS Q8 Performance facelift will be launched in India tomorrow. This is a mid-life update for the SUV and it gets cosmetic changes both on the inside and outside. It will be retailed here in one fully loaded variant with V8 power and 850Nm of torque.
Design highlights
Exterior design changes include new wheels, updated face and light package while inside Audi has updated the cabin with things like new sports seats and dual screen package. Other major highlights include four-zone climate control, powered front seats, a powered tail gate, driver assistance systems and a full LED light package.
V8 power
The RS Q8’s party piece is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 640bhp and 850Nm a increase of 40bhp and 50Nm over the outgoing model. The 0-100kmph time is 3.6 seconds and those who buy the car will get to flash the badge of fastest SUV to lap the Nurburgring. It lapped the Nordschleife in 7.36 minutes in the hands of racing driver Frank Stippler.
Expected pricing
We expect a pricing of around Rs 2.2 to Rs. 2.3 crore and it will take on cars like the Lamborghini Urus SE and the Porsche Cayenne GTS as well cars from Maserati.
