The Audi RSQ8 Performance SUV has been launched in India, starting at a price or Rs 2.49 crore (ex-showroom). It is available as one fully loaded model in eight standard and nine exclusive colour options. Bookings opened earlier this month, with India allocated units sold out for next six months.
Major design highlights include new bumpers, wheels, and headlamps. Inside, Audi has added new interior colour schemes and also upgraded the touchscreen infotainment system. The feature list also includes four-zone climate control, RS badging, carbon fibre inserts, dual digital screens, sunroof, power tail gate, and powered front seats.
Putting the performance in RSQ8 Performance is a twin-turbo V8, producing 645bhp and 850Nm. You get Audi’s quattro AWD tech and an eight-speed AT as standard. It has a 0-100kmph time of 3.6 seconds and holds the record for the fastest SUV to lap the Nordschleife with a time of 7.36 minutes, set in 2024.
The RSQ8 performance rivals the likes of the Lamborghini Urus SE, Maserati Grecale, and the Porsche Cayenne GTS.
