- Completely new design, more features
- Multiple engine options including a hybrid model
The Audi Q3 has been a popular contender in the premium compact SUV segment for more than 10 years. Now, there is a third-generation model, which is expected to bring the Q3 back into contention. This time around, the highlights include new driver assistance systems, improved Matrix LED headlight tech, and partially electrified combustion engine with mild-hybrid technology, and a plug-in hybrid model with an electric range of up to 120km.
The entry-level model in the Q3 family is the TFSI 150bhp, four-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. The TDI 150bhp diesel is suitable for driving long distances, according to Audi. The e-hybrid 272bhp model can charge up to 50kW, and it features a high-voltage 25.7kWh battery, which enables an electric-only range of up to 120km (WLTP). The most powerful of the combustion engines is the TFSI Quattro model with 265bhp, quattro all-wheel drive, and a seven-speed S-tronic gearbox.

When it comes to driver assistance, the Q3 relies on a reverse camera, adaptive cruise control (including speed limiter), lane departure warning with emergency assist, hill hold assist, traffic sign recognition, attention and fatigue warning with driver monitoring, active front assist with evasion and turning assist, front cross traffic assist, and front emergency brake assist.
The new Audi Q3 will be available to order in select European markets from July. Naturally, the car will be launched in other parts of the world, including India in late 2025 or early 2026. It will compete against cars like the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
