- Improved ergonomics
The Hyundai Creta has been the carmaker’s bestseller for quite a while now, and the mid-size SUV remains a popular choice across various demographies. The same is now set to receive a mid-cycle refresh, and it is expected to make its way in global markets in 2027.
The Hyundai Creta, originally introduced in India in 2015, got a second-gen iteration in 2020, third-gen in 2024, and an upcoming iteration expected in 2027. Spy shots showcase upholstery materials, boss mode, and larger 235/45 section 19-inch alloy wheels. However, the latter is unlikely to make its way in India, given that larger tyres make the ride firmer, and the same wouldn’t suit our uneven roads.

Like its Kia cousin, the Seltos, the Creta is also expected to be dimensionally larger than its previous iteration. An upgraded ADAS suite, better connected car tech, better fit and finish, and a larger infotainment are also likely to be bundled as feature upgrades. The Creta is likely to play it safe on the mechanical side of things, given that the current setup is working well in the carmaker’s favour.
