Back in April this year, Kia introduced the 2026 Syros in India, with prices starting at Rs. 8.40 lakh. The model year update brings along a refreshed design, variant and colour rejig, and some tweaks to the feature list.
Now, we have spotted the mid-spec HTK+ variant of the 2026 Syros at a local dealer showroom. Seen in the images here is the HTK+ variant finished in a shade of Ivory Silver Matte, which also happens to be the sole matte finish offered with this model. There are a total of nine colours and seven variants to choose from, and we have detailed the same on our website.
As seen in the images here, the HTK+ variant of the updated Kia Syros comes equipped with all-LED lighting, revised front and rear bumpers, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a gloss black finish for the skid plates, roof rails, and ORVMs. Inside, the model boasts a panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch screens, engine start-stop button, EPB with auto-hold, dual-tone interior theme with Mint Green inserts, cruise control, paddle shifters, drive and traction modes, rear seats with slide and recline functions, rear sunshades, and a rear centre armrest with cup holders.
The unit in question is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox. The engine is tuned to generate 118bhp and 172Nm. Notably, the HTK+ is the new entry-level offering from which you can now pick an automatic transmission. The latter also stands true for the diesel engine, which is available with a six-speed torque converter automatic unit. According to Kia, select features like the ADAS suite, ambient lighting, and the 360-degree camera have been removed owing to feedback from customers.
