Hyundai Motor India launched the facelifted iteration of its mid-size sedan, the Verna. With a base ex-showroom tag of Rs. 10.98 lakh, it brings a few stand-out features. Here’s a photo gallery, detailing the same.
Externally, we can see a changed face with a full-LED setup, R16 dual-tone alloys, connected light bar, and chrome accents. The overall silhouette is largely similar to its previous iteration. The rear bumper remains unchanged in its overall appearance, barring the addition of a silver cladding.

The cabin gets a beige-black dual-tone treatment, as well as leatherette uphplstery. We can also see a new steering wheel without the Hyundai logo – a D-cut multifunction unit borrowed from the Venue facelift.

A wireless charging pad is also visible. Buttons for front-seat ventilation adjustment are also found on the centre console.

The display unit is curved – there are two 10.25-inch screens – one for the instrument cluster, and the other for the infotainment unit which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Verna also gets an eight-speaker audio system by Bose.

Mechanically, the new Verna gets two engine options – 1.5L NA MPi and 1.5 turbo GDi – the latter of which churns out 158bhp/253Nm.

The Hyundai Verna facelift comes with features like rear window sunshades, automatic climate control, blind spot monitor, paddle shifters, rain-sensing wipers, 528-litre boot, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags (top-spec), highline TPMS, and an eight-way powered driver seat. Additionally, two new colorways (Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte) have been added.
