Hyundai India has launched the updated Hyundai Exter in India, with prices starting at Rs. 5.80 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings for the compact SUV are open at Rs. 11,000.
The updated Exter gets a revised front and rear bumper, redesigned grille, new diamond-cut 15-inch alloy wheels, and a wing-type spoiler. Additionally, it can now be had in two new Golden Bronze and Titanium Black Matte shades.
Inside, the cabin now features a new dual-tone Navy and Grey theme, a 3D carbon-pattern dashboard finish, and a new flat-bottom steering wheel. It also introduces metal pedals, along with updates such as a folding driver armrest and revised upholstery.
On the feature front, the Exter continues to offer a dashcam, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Type-C rear USB port, and connected features. Other highlights include a sunroof, digital instrument cluster, and OTA updates.
Powertrain options remain unchanged, with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine offered with manual and AMT gearboxes. There is also a CNG variant with a dual-cylinder setup, now featuring an underbody spare wheel to free up boot space.
