The 2025 Renault Triber is currently on sale, with prices ranging between Rs. 5.73 lakh and Rs. 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The three-row MPV is available with a naturally aspirated petrol engine, and an optional CNG retrofitment. We sampled the AMT version of the Triber for our real-world fuel efficiency test.
The Triber is underpinned by a 1.0-litre petrol motor, paired either with a five-speed manual or an AMT unit. In this setup, the engine develops 71bhp and 96Nm peak torque. We subjected this version of the MPV through the standard CarWale test regime.
During the test, the manual AC was set to half on the cool side, with the blower speed set at level 1. In our city loop of 73km, the Triber delivered 13.64kmpl (5.35 litres consumed). On the highway, running over 82km (4.59 litres consumed), it returned 17.86kmpl. Combining both runs, the average fuel efficiency stood at 14.69kmpl. With a 40-litre fuel tank, the Triber can cover approximately 587km on a full tank in mixed driving conditions.
