- Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Show
- Based on the Gloster
Introduction
MG showcased the Majestor SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year, but never furnished further information post unveil. The SUV is expected to be launched in the coming month, with the availability of a new black shade, unlike the only white one showcased at the expo. Here’s what all we can expect from the SUV.
Exterior
The MG Majestor is basically the updated version of the Gloster, so it will continue being a big three-row SUV, albeit with refreshed looks. Up front is a large, upright octagonal grille, which is flanked by slim LED DRLs and vertically stacked LED headlights. The rear section sports wraparound LED tail lamps connected by an LED light bar. The latest test mule also sported the bold 'MAJESTOR' lettering in bold on the tailgate. Otherwise, it still gets a chunky rear bumper with dual chrome-tipped exhausts as revealed earlier.

Interior
The tinted glasses still hide the MG Majestor's interior, which hasn't been officially revealed. But we can expect the SUV to get a new free-standing 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster. Going by what MG offers in the existing Gloster, features like a three-zone automatic climate control, ventilated seats with heating and massaging function, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof could be carried over to the Majestor.

Powertrain
Powertrain options will include the 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel engine, which produces 213bhp and 478Nm torque. This mill comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and is equipped with an intelligent 4WD drivetrain.
Launch Timeline
There's no official confirmation yet, but the MG Majestor might be launched in India soon, and would be sold alongside the current Gloster. We expect the carmaker to announce its pricing mid-May 2025.
