JSW MG Motor India recently launched the 2025 edition of the Astor. The SUV is priced from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and now comes with new features to keep up with the competition. Here's all that's new.
The carmaker has added a new Shine variant of the Astor that offers a panoramic sunroof. Priced just under Rs. 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom), this is the only mid-size SUV in its segment to offer this feature. Besides, the Select variant is now equipped with six airbags and ivory leatherette seats. Moreover, essential updates include an auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger. The 2025 MG Astor also comes with an updated i-Smart 2.0 system with over 80 connected features, voice recognition, and ADAS.
Powertrain
The carmaker offers the 2025 MG Astor with three powertrain options. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to either a five-speed manual or CVT, and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
