Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to launch a new variant of the Scorpio N, to appeal to a wider set of customers. This product update focuses on a tech loaded variant for a premium experience, which includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The upcoming Z8T variant further expands the Z8 premium range of the Scorpio N. It packs in all the features from the existing Z8 variant, with the addition of an electronic parking brake and an auto-hold feature. Thus, the SUV will soon be offered in three different ranges with seven variants. The starting range includes the Z2 and the Z4, the mid-range includes the Z6, while the premium range comprises of the Z8S, Z8, Z8T, and the top-of-the-line Z8L variants. These will continue to be offered with both petrol and diesel powertrains, six-seater and seven-seater configurations, manual and automatic transmission options, and 2WD and 4WD versions.
Now, speaking of the new tech-loaded, top-spec Z8L variant, it features Level 2 ADAS capabilities. In addition to the e-brake and auto-hold features, the top-of-the-line Scorpio N will feature 10 new ADAS features. Here's a list –
