Toyota recently launched the ninth-generation Camry in the Indian market. The sedan is offered in a single variant at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 48 lakh. The all-new Camry is based on the TNGA-K platform. It measures 4,915 mm in length, 1,839 mm in width, and 1,445 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,825 mm.

Now for the styling bits starting with the front, the car features a large trapezoidal grille with C-shaped headlamps at the front. The bumper with this protruding edge looks nice and sharp.

Similarly, on the side, the straight lines along the shoulder line give it a nice lengthy look. It rides on 18-inch alloys.

At the back, like the U-shaped headlamps, there are wraparound taillights with C-shaped LED internals as well.

Inside, the Camry gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a three-spoke steering wheel with a digital instrument cluster.

The car comes equipped with features such as 10-way adjustable front seats, reclining rear seats, 3-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a head-up display, and a 9-speaker JBL audio system.

As far as safety features are concerned, the new Camry comes with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 also called TSS, which is the brand’s Level 2 ADAS suite, 9 airbags, and a 360-degree camera.

Powertrain
The ninth-generation Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT). The hybrid powertrain delivers 227bhp and 220Nm of torque.
