2019 Honda Civic variants explained

The Honda Civic has been launched in India at Rs 17.69 lakhs (ex-showroom). It has three petrol and two diesel powered variants as well as five colour options. Here is a break-up of the variants and the one we would recommend. We have already driven the petrol CVT variant and you can read about that here

This is the base variant for the Honda Civic and is only available with the petrol engine and CVT combination. This variant gets the following features.
-Front and side airbags

-ISOFIX child seat mounting points
-Halogen projector headlamps and halogen fog lamps
-LED tail lamps
-16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels

-Rear AC vents
-Power mirrors
-Tilt and telescope adjust for steering wheel

Honda Civic VX petrol CVT/VX diesel MT
This is the mid-level variant for the Honda Civic and here you can either have a petrol CVT or a diesel manual. In addition to the features of the V variant you also get the following:
-Multi-view reverse camera with guidelines
-Pop up hood (diesel models only)
-  Ivory coloured leather upholstery
-Leather wrapped steering wheel
-8 way power driver’s seat
-16.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play/ Android Auto

Honda Civic ZX petrol CVT/ZX diesel MT
This is top-of-the-line model for the Honda Civic and is offered with both petrol and diesel power. In addition to the features of the VX variant, buyers also get the following on the ZX variant.
-Curtain airbags
-Lane watch camera
-Full LED headlamps
-LED front fog lamps

We would recommend the top-of-the-line ZX variants as they offer maximum safety features as well as the better looking 17-inch alloy wheels.
