    Mahindra Marazzo variants explained

Mahindra has launched the Marazzo in India at introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakhs (All India ex-showroom). There’s four variants, six colour options and only a single 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. Given that the Marazzo has to take on the likes of the Maruti Ertiga, Renault Lodgy and Honda BR-V, the bar has to be quite high. So, here is what each variant has to offer. In this each succeeding variant gets the features of the previous variant added on.

    A. Mahindra Marazzo M2
The M2 is the base variant for the Marazzo and is the entry level model. At Rs 9.99 lakhs you wouldn’t expect much. But Mahindra has understood that its buyers are spread out across spectrums and has, thus, given even the M2 variant quite a comprehensive kit.

    Halogen headlamps
    Signature Mahindra grille in black
    R16 steel wheels

    Interior
Option of captain seats and arm rest in row 2

    Central locking
USB charging point for the second row
    Tilt adjustment for the steering

    Safety
    Dual front airbags
    ISOFIX child seat mounting points
Impact and speed sensing door locks

    B. Mahindra Marrazo M4
This is the second level variant for the MPV. It’s priced at Rs 10.95 lakhs and the nearly Rs 1 lakh increase in price increase is visible in the number of added features over the M2 variant.

    Exterior
    Body coloured ORVMs
    Wheel covers

    Interior
Height adjustment for the driver’s seat
    USB charging point with AUX-IN
    2-DIN audio system
    Mahindra Blue sense APP compatibility
    Four speakers

    C. Mahindra Marazzo M6
The M6 variant is one below the top for the Marrazo and is priced at Rs 12.40 lakhs and this is a major step up from the M6 model. This difference of Rs 1.45 lakhs is very visible in the significant numbers of added features both on the inside and outside.

    Exterior

    Chrome Mahindra grille
Chrome insert on lower section of grille and tail gate

    Front tweeters

    D. Mahindra Marrazo M8 variant
This is the most expensive variant on offer from the Marazzo. It’s priced at Rs 13.90 lakhs and gets everything in Mahindra’s arsenal. Here, the car actually takes on vehicles in a higher price range including the likes of the Hyundai Creta.
