My honest experience
Best in EV the Mahindra nes revolution towards the tech and suv which also gives sporty look which attracts the more zeng z's. Honestly, driving the Mahindra BE 6e feels less like driving an SUV and more like piloting a spaceship. The first thing you notice is the stares—it looks straight out of a sci-fi movie with that aggressive front and the sharp coupe roofline. Pictures don't really do it justice; it has serious road presence. Inside, the "cockpit" vibe is genuine. The driver’s seat is separated by a central spine, making you feel snug and completely focused. Performance-wise, it’s a beast. Put it in ‘Race’ mode, and that rear-wheel-drive push pins you back instantly. Hitting 0-100 km/h in under 7 seconds is addictive, and unlike older Mahindras, it actually stays planted around corners. It’s not perfect, though. The suspension is definitely on the stiffer side, so you do feel the bad roads, and the rear headroom is a bit tight for tall friends because of that stylish sloping roof. Verdict: If you want a boring family hauler, look elsewhere. But if you want a thrill ride that looks like a million bucks, the BE 6e is unmatched.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5Exterior

As someone who’s been waiting to shift from a diesel SUV to a full EV, this model feels like Mahindra finally nailed the balance between technology, performance, and practicality. The design looks futuristic without being overdone—the sharp LED DRLs, flush door handles, and aerodynamic silhouette make it stand out on the road. Inside, the cabin feels premium with soft-touch materials and a large dual-screen setup. The infotainment is smooth, and the 360-degree camera quality is impressive. I test-drove the long-range variant, and the instant torque really surprised me—it’s both quick and silent. The claimed range of around 450–500 km seems realistic for city use with occasional highway trips . Charging is convenient with both fast and home-charging options, and Mahindra’s expanding network gives some peace of mind. The suspension tuning feels slightly firm, but it keeps the car planted on curves. What really stands out is the sense of confidence in build quality—you can tell safety was a priority here. Overall, the XEV 9e feels like a solid move by Mahindra into the premium EV market.
