Buying Experience - The Mercedes way of owning inventory and almost stripping pricing ownership from the dealership is definitely less stressful for a buyer. BMW should also switch to this model. The delivery experience was excellent. Driving Experience - This was not my first choice from a driving experience (as compared to BMW X5). The steering is too light and there is some body roll. But what won was the supreme comfort in the backseat. Service and Maintenance - The local dealership has been very responsive so far, but they take a very long time for turnaround. But if you want a reasonable driving experience combined with killer mileage and supreme backseat comfort, the GLE is the one. I personally would go for the 450d for its torque and efficiency, every single time!
