The buying experience was great, they gave me the best exchange value for my Ford Fiesta, I purchased on 23 Oct 2020, 4200 kms done. Drove on Highway also in the city. The 1.5L engine is one of a gem it has good balance for power and mileage. The smart Hybrid system helps a lot in stop and go traffic it's very smooth and you never feel wasting fuel in Red lights. city 16.5 highway 22.5 I am getting after 1st service, I think it may improve more once the oil Service is done. I was using High octane petrol(Speed, power, Xtra Premium) as it gives your engine more power and mileage too.(self-tested it) The service interval for Petrol Ciaz is annual once you get done with the free services also the paid service is around 6-7000 which is nothing for 12months. which is better than my old fiesta which has a service interval of 6months/10,000 kms. Pros: DELTA variant is Value for money, you get cheapest full-size sedan 4.5m long, fuel-efficient, super silent 1.5L engine 100BHP, Mild Hybrid, Cruise Control is the best thing Delta model has got, Climate control, good resale value, very large Boot space,6 speakers, steering mounted controls, Large knee room well-cushioned Seats, All Tyres comes of the same size which is a plus too. It's the practical choice as it covers everything you don't need to waste 1.5 to 2.5 lacs extra for the same size and engine specs Car. I was about to Buy Honda city 2020 but I cancelled it as the Abhikaran Honda Bhopal, the staff was not courteous towards us, the Exchange Guy Mr Vishwakarma behaved very badly to us as if he is doing a favour to us buy taking our ford fiesta also he gave us a very low price he was so rude and mean. Then we checked the Ciaz and realized that we are almost having the same features also by spending Rupees 2.5 lacs less. same engine specs, same boot space, same dimension, same warranty BUT MORE mileage and MORE resale. Pay LESS on Service Cost, Less on spare Parts. Also there was no questions about durability as our first Car is Maruti 800 1997 model, still running super also very cheap to maintain. so there were no doubts regarding ownership of Maruti. Maruti Suzuki is also Japanese technology as Honda so why should we spend more money? I totally agreed with my Father and we bought CIAZ, I am Completely Happy with Our Decision. even After 5 years, we will have a better resale value plus more customers if we change our Vehicle. Also, the Spare parts are cheap even you can get it serviced anywhere in India as mechanics are easily available for MARUTI. CONS:- It feels lighter as compared to Fiesta, speakers have lots of bass, plastic quality is not that great. Overall Value for money, spacious easy to maintain a full-sized sedan with good mileage.

While looking for a proper sedan, I considered City, Verna & Ciaz as the obvious choices. My requirements were- petrol engine ( as my usage is around 10-12k KMS/yr), auto transmission- a must have as it has also to be driven by my wife, spacious & comfortable (have 2 kids in the family), decent milage ( as it's my daily drive to office) Test drove all 3 sedans before making a decision. Dropped Verna because of its lack of rear seat space & headroom ( I being 5'9" and my head scrapped the roof regularly), also feedbacks on its automatic's milage were not encouraging. City was impressive in it's drive and handling & also rear bench space is very good, but it's auto variant is ~ 3 lacs more than Ciaz's. Then I test drove Ciaz auto, and was pleasantly surprised by its performance and comfort. Frankly, it's 4 speed torque converter auto transmission is not speed or performance oriented, but for a daily drive in rush hour traffic, it doesn't dissapoint. It's very refined, with hardly any NVH inside the cabin & has enough grunt to quickly fill those traffic gaps. Biggest plus is the Hybrid engine- which basically is the engine start/stop tech that works smoothly & seemlessly to stop the engine when idle & restarts at the slight tap of accelerator pedal. It does help to save those extra mls of ever expensive fuel. Rear seat space is impressive, can seat 3 healthy adults without any problem of any sort, plus it has rear AC vents also. My 6 yr old daughter, uses that bench to sleep comfortably during our drives. Have done 3k KMS & 6 months with the car and Nexa service experience has also been good, with timely service reminder and I didn't spend even 1 Re on its 1st 2 services. During these 3k KMS in daily rush hour traffic, am getting 12 kmpl. Haven't taken it much on open highways, but am sure there, this milage would improve by 4-5 kmpl atleast. Cons- nothing significant here, as Ciaz proves it's worth as a real value for money car, really feels premium in it's Alpha variant ( all LED setup, 16" alloys, all leather upholstery including leather wrapped steering wheel, 7" touchscreen ICE unit with Android auto & apple car play, enough chrome all around) Overall, Ciaz is the car that appeals much more to the mind than your heart, and keeps you amply comfortable and happy in it's every drive.

If anyone is looking for best value for money product without compromising comfort, power, features, then close your eyes, don't think twice and go for Ciaz. People looking for sedan in this segment will compare with verna, city, yaris, vento and rapid. Now why i choose Ciaz over these is simply because of ride quality, comfort and space. 1. Verna is out of the league as soon as you enter to the back seat as this much long car also have just minimal leg space also cabin feels claustrophobic. Ground clearance is 165mm and sx(o) will price over 2 Lakh higher. Also, Braking is not good for Hyundai cars. 2. I personally didn't like the looks of yaris and also price is on the higher side, 3 person in back seat is bit tight and top end priced 3 lakh more than Ciaz. 3. Vento and Rapid both are nice cars but lags in Fuel economy. Also, maintenance is on the higher side. 4. i was actually confused between City and Ciaz because of almost all the similarities these 2 cars offer. I had to take test drive of these two cars multiple time to decide upon one. Looks wise no doubt city is better from outside and inside. Also, pickup, stability, steering is better in City than Ciaz. But why i choose Ciaz over city is because of comfort in potholes and bad roads, fuel economy, SHVS, maintenance, better infotainment system, LED projecter headlight and LED tail light, Top end City VX petrol priced 3 lakh more than Ciaz. Pros: 1. Refreshed looks is better than before. Led headlamp and tail lamp looks gorgeous. 2. 1.5 lt. engine actually pulls well, overtaking is easy, 3 rd gear can pull from 20km/hr without any problem so less gear change in city ride. 3. Overall features packed car and very few missing features are there. 4. Riding it's offer supreme comfort. I was worried about vehicle being touched from bottom in Bangalore's bad potholes but till now didn't face any issue, in fact during test ride i deliberately taken the vehicle to maximum bad roads. 5. In Bangalore Bumper to bumper traffic it's offering 9-10 kmpl and in moderate traffic it's offering around 12 kmpl. Highway it's offering more than 15 kmpl. 6. Instrument cluster and Infotainment system is simply fabulous. 7. Speed warning beep is nice features to remind drivers on over speeding. Some people will not like it though. Cons: 1. Steering feedback is missing, also center pullback is very poor and need to be more careful while handling the car. Need to give some time to adjust with the steering behavior. 2. Few important features like rain sensing wiper, hill hold, traction control missing in MT. 3. In Interior too much beige color used, dual tone should have been used bit more wisely. 4. Interior Fit and finish is good as compared to Maruti Suzuki other cars but not good as compare with city or verna or yaris. 5. Rear Disc brake is missing which i feel pretty much required for 1.5 Lt. engine and power.

      1. Buying experience :- after buying baleno zeta in may 2018 i was very convinced about Stan Nexa industrial area Chandigarh. But here comes the twist they sold me 5 months old ciaz (july manufactured i bought in December 2018) from there stock yard. Fault was mine as i have a blind trust in them and didn't verified the VIN number. So before buying from nexa always verify VIN number as Maruti have a tendency to pile up the stock at dealers end. Ciaz sells 2500 to 3000 units monthly so Maruti has manufactured early stock before launching the car . 2. Riding experience :- I was using a hydraulic steering card details so being EPS ciaz steering is quite light and behaves good on higher speed not par with hydraulic. Seat position is on upper side although you can adjust its height but i always liked the low stance of the seat which is missing in ciaz. People who wear turban and are above 5'10" should avoid as head space is ok for me (5'11"). Being a delta model it comes with 15" alloys and MRF tyre so I upgraded to 16" ciaz alloys with appollo alnace rubber. Cornering improved after upgrade. Ciaz is 15 mm narrow than baleno and one can find the difference b/w seats because of it . Baleno have more broad seats than ciaz also baleno's seats are more comfortable. 3. Looks and performance : - ciaz have decent looks one cant say it an agressive or dull but it has a classy stance . If you are going to buy go only for Alpha variant as LED head lamp and tail lamps really compliment the car. Front grill also worked well with new design. 1.5 hybrid petrol mill is a new development and comes with torque assist feature ( it has integrated starter generator only in petrol ) in diesel 1.3 hybrid is only with auto start stop ). It has almost same power figures with Toyota Yaris so both vehicles have low power as compared to other cars in segment. I also felt 1.5 litter petrol is not as refined as of 1.2 litter petrol and also felt slight vibrations at idling RPM which Maruti says is normal in ciaz ( please correct me if it is happening only in my vehicle). It cruises well on highway and low end torque is also good for city drive . I must say that fuel economy is also good as i am getting 18- 18.5kmpl (include city and highway drive ). There is no under protection for engine and transmission in delta variant. MID is beautifully designed which i think is the most informative MID in this segment gives all details related to vehicle. Fits and finish are so so as there is a gap between driver door panel and dashboard which is uneven and present in all ciaz when i purchased. 4. Servicing and maintenance :- Here is the saddest part. We People go for Maruti because of its servicing and nowadays it sucks. Maruti dealers are incompetent to resolve issues related to Smart hybrid system. When i purchased the vehicle it has issue with battery ( as it was 5 months old and battery was not used from long battery was unable to maintain its specific gravity) battery got changed but still start stop doesn't not working even after 300 kms continue driving. My ciaz went 5 times to 2 different dealers to resolve smart hybrid issue . As they don't know how it works in specific petrol models they are unabel to answer my queries. Once they had hit my vehicle inside their premises from behind. Although they repaired the same but my vehicle got accidental because of them. Now back to the problem which was not actually a problem. I got to know from some expert that ISG uses secondary battery in cruise control mode and if i am using cruise control mode second battery ( lithium ion battery only in petrol model) doesn't get charged because of which ideal start stop will not work). Since from that day i didt used cruise for local roads as battery get charged by deacceleration of engine. Problem is not there but maruti didn't educated its dealers to resolve the issue. 4. Servicing and maintenance :- service network is getting poor. Dealers have noob technicians who handles your car carelessly. Once my vehicle got hit from back . Vehicle has rattling issues from the start . Every time they remove door panel fix it leaving scratches of screw driver on panel. Unprofessional staff unable to resolve queries. Maintainance is no longer a cheap affair also. It is getting par with Hyundai vehicles. Pros and Cons:- Pros:- 1. Cheap vehicle as compared to competition . Have great space and rear seat comfort. 2. Fuel efficient and comes up loded with features. Cons 1. Poor manufacturing quality ( though build quality is ok as compared to other Maruti cars). Door panel gaps , rattling issues. 2. Many dealers but all are not enough competent of your vehicle has an issue or you have a any query. 3. Engines specially petrol 1.5 is not as refined as of 1.5 of city or 1.6 of Verna. I would suggest every one to think of other options before buying . You are going to spend 10 lakh plus amount so consider other products also and compare each and everything . I bought it in hurry and now i feel i did the wrong thing. I live my ciaz and i take care of her very much but i hate maruti . Think before what you buy. Put your money wisely. I was a big Fan of maruti cars but from my past experiences i will never suggest anyone to buy Maruti.

I was on a road trip with one of my freind. We were heading to manali from delhi in his recently purchased maruti suzuki ciaz. It had done a few thousand kms. When i first saw the car it looked amazing, the car sure is. PROS: 1. It has a upper hand in terms of space, boot space is exceptionally good, considering a c segment sedan. even space inside the car is very nice. 2. I was familiar with maruti's petrol engines, but one on this vehicle has more punch to offer. The 1.5L k series motor pulls with ease and hybrid engine makes it a comfortable ride. 3. Suspension is on the smoother side. 4. Premium feel interior makes it a joyous journey to look forward. 5. Plenty of features to brag upon. 6. Gave us mileage of 20kmpl, making our trip reasonable. CONS: 1. talking of the build quality, it not up to the notch. we didn't had a any drastic incident but there was a bike that barely touched our vehicle, leaving a dent on on of the door. i wonder (may god save from such situations) what would happen in a major compact. 2. steering wheel doesn't center itself. now that sometimes gives a issue. i just does not recentre. i have a swift that is from family but steering on that is very good but didn't meet hopes on this one. 3. 2 airbags in top end model. like this is 2019, rivals offer 6 and some 7 airbags. safety has not been the priorities of maruti we have seen, but being flagship vehicle of the company i think it should provide with some safety, they may increase little bit of price. No car can be like a perfect one, but if someone wishes to buy feature loaded, pocket friendly, spacious c segment sedan that is a fun to drive, they can surely go for this one, but this car is surely, not safe. Thank you.

The buying experience was good enough for me. It took a bit longer than usual for the delivery. But still it's ok with me. The looks and performance are sober but not the best in the segment. Hyundai Verna looks quite more better and some of it's engine options offers much better performance. Fuel economy is quite good in this segment as it uses it's smart hybrid technology. The body of the car is not made of sturdy material though. It feels a bit plastic and cheap. The interiors of the car is very good. It has the best in class cabin space both at the front and the back and it also has the biggest boot in the segment along with the Honda City of 500 liters. Servicing and maintenance is easy enough. PROS: 1. Provides quite a lot of features in the lowest price in the segment. 2. Interiors are very good. 3. Fuel economy is quite good. It gives me an average of 18-20 km/l mileage. 4. Resale value of Maruti Suzuki cars is high enough. 5. It is very comfortable and offers a lot of space. 6. The car also offers a quite loud and awesome music system even in the base model. CONS: 1. The material quality of the car is not quite good. It will get scratched or dented very easily. 2. The Bluetooth connectivity in the car is a bit problematic. It tends not to connect with your phone at one go. 3. Looks from the outside is not that good when compared with other cars in the segment. FINAL VERDICT: If you are looking for a premium sedan at a very low price which is also loaded with a lot of features, then go ahead and grab your Ciaz right now. I mean it's a nice car at a low price, what else do you want. But if you are comfortable with spending a bit more money, I would prefer to look for other options in the segment like Hyundai Verna and Honda City.

ORVMs are now well functional , Central Locking is at its worst. After Sales Service Staff staff think that we are not their customers we are their slaves. so overall all this car is "Tin Ka Dabba"

I bought MS Ciaz in June 2018, and it is a great deal! The services and buying experience from NEXA was truely amazing! Coming to the Pros and Cons- Pros:- 1.Best value for money car in the segment. While other cars like Honda City, Verna go upto like 14-15Lakh for the top variant. Ciaz is available for 11.5-12.5 Lakhs for the top variant. ( I bought it for 11.20 lakhs,Alpha Petrol Manual) 2. Best in class cabin and boot space. One of the most spacious car in and above the segment. However headroom could have bit better. 3. Interiors and exteriors design. Its subtlr yet stylish. Its the most simplistic and coolest design in the range. 4. Infotainment system. It is made by electronic giant BOSCH and its phenomenal. I havnt used such a smooth system in any car. Even cars upto 20-25lakh dont have such a good infotainment system. Voice command works fantastic. 5. Engine and service- It has punchy petrol engine. A happy rev loving motor. Does 3 digit speeds pretty well. Low end perfomance is also good. Its a quite motor as well till around 3000 Rpm. Service cost is also very cheap as it is after all a Maruti car! It returns a mileage of around 16kmpl in city and on highway around 18kmpl (Petrol manual) Cons- 1.Quality of both interiors and exterior. The plastic panels are hard. Some things rattle around. The paint quality on the exteriors isnt the best. 2.The seat comfort. There is good space in the sitting area. The seats are wide and big enough, but cushioning and comfort isnt the best. 3.Some buttons are shared with cheaper cars like alto and wagonr like the window controls . 4. Due to low quality and reduced weight the car feels underconfident at high speed and slight not stable on the highway.

Initially ciaz car was d best I thought. After completing 85k kilometres within 3 years ciaz diesel engine consumes 2 liters of engine oil for 4k kilometres. Then I have checked three cylinder piston Nd rings are completely damaged and weaked turbocharger. I have complained this issue to higher level very bad customer service. Please don't buy Maruti Suzuki vehicles their engine can't even survive for 80k kilometres such a worst quality products are providing by Maruti to consumer. After 2012 manufactured vehicles are Maruti own engines. Then only these kind of issues raised. I had a very bad experience to buy a Maruti brand. I have spent 11 lakhs to buy this car now it coated me more than a lakh to repair this car. It's a piece of trash.

Hi guys... initially and infact iam not a big fan of maruti suzuki. The only thing in my mind was while entering showroom is its MADE IN INDIA and we can get easily serviced the car but the showrooms are not expected as others car showroom do.. but but the all things are wiped when I took test drive the CIAZ. It's totally fantastic in terms looks, performance, comfort, driving and most importantly budget friendly.. when you travel you feel a true sedan that you need to experience yourselves by ciaz drive. That's all guys
