Alto 800 is a best car for under 5 lakhs. it's good for middle class family. Actually 2 or 3 people use a bike in a middle class family that not safe.

It's a very nice car and it's mileage is so good it's looks very nice, ac cooling is very good comfortable sits and of the point this car is good for middle class families and small families

The Alto 800 LXI is a great car to drive in heavy traffic. It is easily manoeuvrable and no space in the road is too narrow for it. The price is extremely reasonable as well. I have driven 32000 km in it so far and have never found a reason to feel dissatisfied until I drove a Celerio AMT, which has a more powerful engine than the Alto 800. However, that apart, the Alto 800, as I mentioned before, is a great car to have. It is extremely fuel-efficient too. I drive the car on extremely steep slopes and around sharp bends and have always experienced total control (touch wood). I have even driven it, occasionally above 100kmph on the highway and not had any issues. Periodic maintenance should not have been expensive, but, now that the car is almost 5 years old, the costs are going up, goodness knows why considering the parts are all made in India. It is a tiny car but the available legroom and boot space is enough for a small family. Overall pros are, that it is compact, fuel-efficient, reliable and service centers are widely available. The only con is the rising servicing cost as the car ages and questions regarding the quality of service.

Car is very awesome in design in this price. performance is also very good. service and maintenance cost is also low. car is overall best of best in this budget as compare to other cars.

My first and second car was a Maruti 800. The third car was the Alto 800. I have never thought of purchasing any other make. Alto 800 was used for the 10-year odometer reading of 15000kms. No repairs were done on the engine or body. Excellent car for city use and outside city up to 1200kms.

Everything is okay. It is value for money at this price. This car is very good for a small family. Everyone can buy this car and fulfill their dream. This is a normal car so take care of safety.
