- 2 years ago | Biju VKI am a highway rider and I have driven this vehicle all day for 16+ hrs between 90 to 110 kms/h speed crossing 1000+ kms in a day. This vehicle performs really well without any lag and is ready to cruise all day without making the passengers tired. I started loving this vehicle when I did 2000+ kms from TN to UP in 30 Hrs riding time all alone just in 2 days. I even took this vehicle through forests, rural villages and some off roads to avoid all day boring National Highway ride. The vehicle never let me down. Xl6 managed to show the highest mileage of 21 during the Highway ride with overall mileage around 18+ during this ride. The 360 camera, hill hold assist were of great help during hill station rides with no lag in performance. AC / climate control performance was excellent. I am using the automatic Alpha variant, the paddle shifter and cruise work really well, the paddle shifter helps when you are looking for some great performance in the same engine. Those who have used these features may understand what I feel. I just miss the ventilated seats which are available in the alpha + variant. The captain seats make the rear passenger feel more comfortable and convenient, I even stayed for a night sleeping peacefully by lowering the 3rd row which provides ample space to relax during an India ride Overall it's a feature-packed, premium family vehicle. I love it.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)4

Overall a good family this car only lacks ground clearance which should be about 200mm minimum and it lacks safety wise also because the front of the car easily bent because of a ball hit that also tennis one poor build quality of this car and space management could have been more improved at the third row it is useless to give 2 bottle holders man seats seem small and uncomfortable don't give more bottle holders at so many places in the car be a practical man Zeta CNG Mileage: 18-20 km/l in the city and 25 km/l on the highway.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)4Design and Styling

About the ReviewerPurchase New131 - 4 years ago | Subhyan BiswasI have 25 years of experience in driving car in India and abroad. Recently I decided to sell off one of my cars (Tata Indica Vista) which was almost 13 years old and I wanted to buy a spacious car with good boot space that gives decent mileage. I had one more constraint; the car should have automatic gear. When I did a little bit research, I found all the well known SUVs with boot space above 380 litres with automatic gear cost nearly 20 lakhs or above, which was beyond my budget. So I decided that instead of SUVs I should go for a good MPV. MPV is a good option when you have a small family but need to carry good amount of luggage while long distant travelling. It offers both options of 6 seater for city tours and comfortable four seater with huge boot space for long journeys. I searched the MPV market and found that XL6 2020 is the best option, because now it has got 16 inch alloy wheel and 6 speed automatic gear and paddle shifter. When I tried to sell off my old Tata car which was in very good condition I revealed a truth of Indian 2nd hand car market that Maruti has a very good resell value. I do not know the reason behind it but it is a fact. So, although there is a new MPV in the market I decided to stick to the one of the most trusted Brands in India. I purchased the top variant of XL6 ( alfa plus automatic). So, far my experience of driving XL6 is amazing. Definitely, the engine response is not like a SUV, one should not expect that kind of engine response, but from the perspective of a good comfortable family car it is TOO GOOD. Before I purchased the car, I read a lot of reviews. I was actually very sceptical about the highway driving. Now I can make a clear statement that driving XL6 on highway is very nice for all those who want to drive more or less with a constant speed. Overtaking is also not an issue. Those who wants sudden pick up they should buy SUV not MPV. However, up to a certain limit sudden pick up is also possible with paddle shifter in manual mode. Mileage of a car depend upon your driving pattern. It gave following mileage with AC on (prior to 2nd servicing) 1. On highway with very cautious driving (speed 70-80km/h) : 21.6 km/litre (on display) , 20.3 km/litre (calculated) 2. On highway (speed between 90-110km/h) : 18.3 km/litre (on display), around 17km/litre (calculated). 3. On congested city roads: 10-13.5km/litre (depending upon average speed) Pros: 1. At an affordable price it offers 360 degree camera, ventilated seats, tyre pressure monitoring which are not available in many well known SUVs. 2. Ventilated seats are very effective and very comfortable. 3. 2nd row captain seats are awesome, since they can be reclined. 4. Mileage is above my expectation. Probably due to mild hybrid engine. 5. Service of NEXA is awesome. 6. Decent ride quality, better than Ertiga, because of 16 inch wheel. 7. Built quality is also better than Ertiga. 8. look is very nice. 9. After folding the 3rd seat, it offers 580 litre of boot space. 10. AC is excellent. I live in Rajasthan and used it in summer. 11. Engine is quite. 12. Driving in city is GREAT since it has a light steering and relatively small turning radius. You never feel that you are driving a big car. 13. Decent ground clearance 180mm. Cons: 1. Ground clearance could have been over 190mm. 2. Noise level inside the car should be further reduced. 3. Touch screen infotainment system should be bigger. Now it is 7inch in size. Conclusion: It is a very good family car, for city driving as well as highways.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)5

About the ReviewerPurchase New123 - 3 years ago | Gireesh JoshiiWilling to buy this car. But if the company provides a sunroof to this segment, it will be an added advantage. While Maruti Suzuki is promoting this car in its NEXA, a premium segment, the company should provide at least some basic premium segment facilities with this car like a sunroof, internet and other things.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)3
