I recently bought the new Maruti Suzuki Swift LXi 2025, and after spending some weeks with it, I can say it is a very practical and reliable hatchback. The on-road price came to around ₹7.3–7.6 lakh, which felt reasonable for the features and brand trust Maruti offers. The 1.2L Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine performs well in the city, with light steering and nimble handling that makes traffic driving easy. Mileage has been impressive too — around 17–18 kmpl in the city and over 22 kmpl on highways, which really helps keep running costs low. One major highlight is that Maruti now offers 6 airbags as standard even in the base LXi variant, along with ABS, EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist, and parking sensors. This definitely improves confidence while driving. That said, being the base model, it misses features like a music system, power-folding mirrors, and push-button start. Rear seat space is a bit tight for three adults, and the engine has mild vibrations at idle. Still, for small families and daily commuters, the Maruti Suzuki Swift LXi offers great mileage, low maintenance, and stylish looks — making it a value-for-money choice.

I purchased it on 1st Jan 2025, and after 10,000 km, it's smoother and provides a good average of 24 kmpl Maruti did work on the new Z series engine. I feel the engine is much better than the last generation model. No matter whether there are 4 or 3 cylinders. Because Maruti Suzuki really did good work on the engine, you never feel like 1 cylinder is messing. The car looks like a Mini Cooper, and really it's different from other cars. In VIRAR WEST MUMBAI, Sai Service is the dealer for Maruti Suzuki, and my experience with service before sale and after sale is outstanding. Staff is very kind and provides proper guidance. Maruti Swift has been in the market for more than 15 years, so here you can purchase this car blindly because this car is a more reliable and maintenance-free car compared to older generations. Cons: We can say we need to provide at least a mirror handling stick or an adjustable ORVM in the car. Because all necessary items are included in the car, but this small and very important thing is missing. Overall, the car is superb. Just go ahead.

The drive is very smooth and the service is also very good the milage is almost very good and good for small families for long route plans and look wise is very nice and the boot space almost very good.

I bought this car last month and it feels too good to drive the most useful thing about this car is it can enter most of the narrower roads and its maintenance cost is valuable and performance is also better

I used to own a Maruti Suzuki Swift VDI 2017 model, and in re place I purchased it for exchange in 2025 because of its performance. But there is a slight setback in its performance as it is now available in only the petrol variant. This reduces its power and mileage. But additional safety features are given, like 6 standard Airbags. Low maintenance cost. I got it serviced after market for around 4K INR with balancing and washing.

This car looks so classic, and the driving experience is also great. You will feel premium while driving. The maintenance cost is also affordable. From my experience, for middle-class people, it will be the great goose for small families (4 members). If you can afford this, go for it. You will not regret it at all.
