    • Grand vitara Zeta Plus strong hybrid review

      I have purchased the zeta plus strong Hybrid model recently and driven around 1500 kms. I and sharing my experience with this car. I personally like the design of this car. My car is accessories loaded which gives it a shiny look. The Interior of this car is premium. The panoramic sunroof has a dual-opening system and it opens almost end of the roof. Also, it has safety features if any object comes while closing it stops. Mileage I am getting around 26 km/l in the city. Sometimes it gives up to 34 km/l. The engine moved from petrol to electric and vice versa seamlessly. Battery charging generator sound comes sometimes when the battery discharged to one dot. There is no lack of power and the car picks up as you press the accelerator. The only negative is the back seat height space. If you are above 6 feet then you will have less headroom.

      Premium Family car, I have been using it for the last 9 Months, 10K kms driven 3 services are over so far it is excellent as expected from Maruti. Mileage is really good if we drive below the 100 km/h range, Highway I has an average mileage of 20KMs on Mysore to Cochin Drive, It is a mix of different terrains, (Mysore - Sathy - Coimbatore Outer - Thrissur) but the majority is a highway with normal traffic, still, Dhimbham Ghat is here, Mysore to Ooty round trip (Mysore - Gundalpet - Ooty - Coonoor) I got approx 17.5KM Milage, City bumper to bumper case milage is close to 12KM range. But Milage is expected to improve after the first oil change and I just did it so need to check the results. As mentioned it's a family car don't expect the driving experience like Swift diesel kind performance, (turbo is not available) But it is very easy to handle, and ride quality is good. Ground clearance everything is superb. All in all, I enjoy and am satisfied with the car.

    • Better to go with XL6 if planning for any mild hybrid varient of grand vitara.

      The buying experience was the worst. I had to cancel my order as they were demanding 3-4 lacs advance after booking but they were not able to confirm the date of delivery. Driving experience was good, performance was also good. But the build quality is poor. Rear doors are very lightweight as the very thin sheet is used which you can feel by pressing your single finger on it. The same is true with the bonnet sheet. Most importantly, if you are buying a mild hybrid, then better you go with XL6. You will get the same hybrid engine with more space in every aspect with large dimensions and accessories.

      The driving experience is good, not boring. The best engine performance and better fuel economy are good. Don't buy the second-top model. There are no genuine changes after-market work, and it looks like a premium car.

      1. Low Quality lockset and key 2. Low quality sunroof cover 3. So many cost cuttings done like, Service manual, documents folder, Key ring, 4. Same horn same lock unlock sound same door locks as in WagonR After spending 18lakh in top model of smart hybrid, still not have all features. So many things they have given only in intelligent hybrid. I don't know Why. No satisfied.

      Best Variant ... Totally value for money & covers all top model features, except the nonsense sunroof. Wanted to buy the top model but changed my mind after sitting on the back side ... In the top model sunroof variant, the headroom is quite less. As my height is 6 feet so I have to sit slightly down with a bend head & neck to save my head from banging above.

    • Smooth drive and best fuel economy

      I love this car; the best thing about it is the smooth drive and the amazing mileage it provides, though the performance feels a bit low while overtaking. This is a perfect family car, with the boot space, the leg room. The infotainment display does have some glitches at times, and the voice assistant is too dumb. Rest, I just love it.

    • Major issue with GPS navigation

      The issue with GPS navigation when connected to CarPlay. Route keeps fluctuating, the pointer moves in opposite direction. Cannot follow the navigation on the infotainment screen. Issue raised with team for 3+ months and still not resolved. Company doesn't even provide replacement vehicle to customer. Pathetic after sales service. Maruti cannot make a luxury segment vehicle, hence proved. On top of it, started getting sales call from hotels, hospitality companies asking if i would be interested in buying package since i have purchased a new car with all my details such as name, number, address.

      Best car of this segment. Lovely look from out side as well as nice interiors. Value for money car. I drove my Grand Vitara Sigma for 100 km on highway with 27.1 Km/l. I was completely surprised to see the performance. My car's first service has been done with 'zero' expanse. Loved the service of Maruti Suzuki. One bad thing i faced that in Sigma variant the back camera fitting was not proper. Over-all best buy.

      Grand Vitara is a comfortable cabin with good Quality material. The seats are comfortable and have a decent sound. In terms of security, the grand vitara comes with front and side Airbags. Air conditioning is superb for the same.
