I have been using the Mahindra XUV 7XO for the last 7–8 months. I was probably among the first customers to get delivery from my showroom because I had pre-booked it before Christmas. Overall, I like the car. The triple-screen setup is one of its best features. My daughter watches cartoons on the passenger screen without distracting me, while I use the driver's display and the centre screen for navigation. It works really well for family trips. However, there are two major issues that prospective buyers should know about: 1. Suspension: The "Da Vinci" suspension, which Mahindra heavily promotes, has been disappointing. The car tends to wobble over even small bumps on the road. Sometimes the car wobbles even when there is no visible bump. It affects ride confidence more than I expected. 2. Mileage: The fuel economy is poor in Bangalore traffic. I consistently get less than 5 km/l. I suspect it can drop below 3 km/l in heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic, but the car's displayed mileage never shows anything below 5 km/l. Apart from these two issues, I am generally satisfied with the vehicle. The triple-screen setup is genuinely useful for families, and I enjoy driving the car otherwise. If Mahindra could improve the suspension tuning and fuel efficiency, it would be an excellent family SUV.

Had an opportunity to test drive AX7 MT version of 7X0. For the past 4-5 months, 7X0 is the content topic for Mahindra lovers. The test drive arrangements were superbly done by the Mahindra dealer in Chennai. The Test drive car was clean and convincing any potential buyer towards purchase inclination. Undoubtedly, power is the USP of 7X0 and in MT mode, one has to enjoy and experience instead of putting them in words. Features are loaded on the car, and we hope no complaints for missing features in normal day usage of the common man. That tank-built quality is missing in 7X0. It is my personal feeling that it is too light for its size, and for the optimum performance of this car, the car needs to be loaded with a minimum 4-5 persons or luggage. My personal opinion is that Mahindra should redesign the car with lesser power (which is manageable during adverse situations) for the same car, or increase the kerb weight of the car to handle such super power on roads. There is a thin line of mismatch between the power and dynamics of this car. However, the same was not felt in the XUV 500 or XUV700 versions of the earlier era. I might be wrong in my thought process, which can be best adjudged by subject matter experts. They can even reduce the trims to 3 models and increase the price, so that the premium feel should be there. In today's price strategy, 7X0 does not belong to either the full premium SUV or the affordable SUV variety. 7X0 needs to be split in pricing with Top 2 trims labelled as 7XO and the lower middle to be codenamed as 700, to differentiate the premium or classy look of the car.

XUV is really good getting an mileage of 11.6 to 12 kmpl in city traffic and 13.5 kmpl in the highway. Good suspension ride quality only disadvantage i felt was service cost and maintenance is bit high and if there is any kind of sensor issues then it will be bit problem apart from that it’s an good SUV compared to Innova Crysta. Completed 3rd service and 20000 kms so it’s good SUV.

Yes, it was a good car and it has super features and a heavy power engine, the have 530 degree camera and the best ABS, good design, but the cost was high, it's ok super feeling when I drive this car.

Display is very good, and more options for value of money, speed test, and breaking control are very nice to drive. Comfort for 7 seater long drive. Overall performance is very, very good.
