XEV 9S Price in Chennai

I own a Tesla Y overseas, hence this review is comparing that. I also drove 50k kms in electric vehicles so far. Mahindra has put a good effort into making this vehicle's pros and cons: Pros: Excellent pickup comparable to Tesla. Good features close match to a Premium Car worth more than 50 lacs. Very good road presence. Very good shockers, but can be uncomfortable for 5+2 on long drives due to subtle sway movements sideways, but for 5, it's ok with the reclining middle seat. Excellent size Frunk Good Autopilot ahead of all other brands, but way behind Tesla. Cons: Range calculations are very bad, no sync between the mobile and car range. Dolby Sound System is good, but can be improved. The mobile app hardly works and takes a lot of time to sync with the car. Very little rear boot space with last seats open. Headlights could have more lumens; another 15% would be nice. UI & UX on screen could be improved.

Did a detailed test drive. I loved the driving experience and comfort. It is packed with features and definite value for money. The waiting period is a little high about 5-7 months. Excellent platform.

I have been using this car for long drives only. Pickup, braking, suspension everything you want it gives you. Only drawback is with the range. I have to keep an eye on the balance charge constantly because it comes down rapidly if i drive at 100kmph constantly. Apart from that this car is fun to drive.

Braking performance feels reassuring and progressive, contributing to a secure overall driving feel. Overall Impression The XEV 9S delivers a polished and comfort-oriented driving experience, blending silent electric performance with smooth ride quality and everyday practicality.
