Price is high but great qualityIt has been quite a while since I have driven this car of one of my friend. The digital screens are quite amazing and the car feels premium. Its quite similar to tesla in looks but I am not sure of the features as I have not driven tesla. My hands on experience of Mahindra Xev 9e (57kwh) variantThe new Mahindra XEV 9e caught my attention the moment I saw it at the dealership. As someone who’s been waiting to shift from a diesel SUV to a full EV, this model feels like Mahindra finally nailed the balance between technology, performance, and practicality. The design looks futuristic without being overdone—the sharp LED DRLs, flush door handles, and aerodynamic silhouette make it stand out on the road. Inside, the cabin feels premium with soft-touch materials and a large dual-screen setup. The infotainment is smooth, and the 360-degree camera quality is impressive. I test-drove the long-range variant, and the instant torque really surprised me—it’s both quick and silent. The claimed range of around 450–500 km seems realistic for city use with occasional highway trips . Charging is convenient with both fast and home-charging options, and Mahindra’s expanding network gives some peace of mind. The suspension tuning feels slightly firm, but it keeps the car planted on curves. What really stands out is the sense of confidence in build quality—you can tell safety was a priority here. Overall, the XEV 9e feels like a solid move by Mahindra into the premium EV market.
