- The Mahindra Vision S concept featured many striking visual details including L-shaped LED DRLs integrated into the grille, ice-cube fog lamps in a chunky bumper, contrasting skid plates and an overall boxy SUV stance reminiscent of the Defender.
- Other details from the front include roof mounted auxiliary lights and tree limb risers (metal cords attached to the bonnet and roof to avoid tree branches from hitting the windshield).
- From the side, its machined alloy wheels, chunky body cladding, flared wheel arches, flush-fitting door handles, and rear quarter mounted ladder and storage box.
- The Vision S compact SUV boasts more interesting visual details, with a tailgate mounter spare wheel with Vision S badging on the cover, sleep stop lamps, dual-tone rear bumper, and vertical LED tail light strips.
- On the inside, it has a modern blue-and-black theme with silver accents, glossy black inserts, two yellow dashboard straps with buckles (to give a nice off-road vibe), two large touchscreens, a three-spoke steering wheel with Vision S badging.

- The Vision S compact SUV is based on the NU_IQ modular platform. This platform is highly versatile, capable of supporting petrol, diesel, electric and hybrid powertrains. It could be the 2.0-litre mStallion, 2.2-litre mHawk diesel, and 59kWh or 79kWh electric powertrains.
- The platform is also capable of handling FWD/AWD and left and right hand drive systems, so Mahindra might be looking at international markets with the production version of the Vision S.
