Mahindra has begun working on the facelifted TUV300 Plus. Recent spotting of a test-mule in Chennai confirms that the model will be updated soon. Apart from the facelift, the model will feature a BS-VI emission compliant engine.
Powering the current Mahindra TUV300 Plus is a 2.2-litre, four cylinder m-Hawk diesel engine that is capable of producing 120bhp at 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 1,800-2,800 rpm. This engine comes mated to a six speed manual transmission.
Design wise, we expect the Mahindra TUV300 Plus facelift to receive a new set of headlamps at the front. Design elements at the side and rear remain largely unchanged as the model continues to receive the squared-off wheel arches, wrap-around tail lights and a tailgate mounted spare wheel. Mahindra is likely to launch the TUV300 Plus facelift in 2020.
