Popular Italian coach builder and design house, Zagato, has teased the roadster version of the Lamborghini L595. Based on the Gallardo, the original coupe form was produced in 2014 to celebrate Zagato’s 95th anniversary, which was commissioned by a collector named Albert Spiess. The roadster version however obviously misses out on the double-bubble roof and gets a folding one instead.
Technical details are not known for now, however it is likely to be offered as a limited series-production model. Reports further indicate that the production model might get a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine from the Huracan Performante Spyder that was showcased at Geneva Motor Show generating 622bhp of power and 600Nm of torque. With all that power, the vehicle should be capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in less than three seconds and might do top speeds of about 350kmph.
More details about the Lamborghini L595 Zagato Roadster might be known in May during its anticipated unveiling at the 2018 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
