With no apologies I want to tell you that Discovery-Land Rover is the worst car I have ever purchased or used. I purchased this liability box i.e. this car (DL 5CP XXXX) in September, 2017. I was fascinated with the brand name.

My fascination turned down soon when at 4500 kms I faced the first break issue. At 5564 kms (October,2017) the break pads got changed under warranty. While I was trying to come out of my first bad experience with this car I got next jerk at 10000 kms when I again started facing issue with breaks. By the month of December the second change of break pads was done and this time the rear breakpads were changed out of my pocket.

But the story did not end here. This brand was all set to give me another set back when at 12000++ kms I incurred break noise issue and at 13215 kms the break pads were again replaced. By this time my frustration was really high because when you spend more than half a crore for a car and that car fails to survive in a good condition even for half a year then customer is at the front of deceit. Sir now again continuing the old tradition this car faced breaking issue at 17000+ kms and it was fixed under warranty at 18231km.

This car is a pandora box of problems for me. Due to the bad working condition of this car I had to decrease my usage of this car but still the car is loosing its break after every 4k-5k kms running. This car is not meant for use of customers. This should be labelled as the worst car of the year. How can you expect a customer to send his car after every 5000 kms for servicing. Sir to bring to your kind notice my Ola usage has highly increased after purchasing this car.

I am more of a regular Ola customer now because I have purchased a useless box of metal which is only meant for showcase and for keeping in the service centres. This rotten metal box is not meant for use. Your executive tells me that break pad issue depends on usage and driving patterns.

Your mighty company claims this car to be an Offroad car and sells it by saying that 15000-20000 kms will be run on same break pads whereas I have to get breakpads changed so many times before 17k. You should stop cheating customers. Every time you say that the car is under warranty but who is going to pay for such frequent service centre visits once the warranty gets over.

Sir I am frustrated with this car to such heights that now I have decided to hang a big placard behind my car where I am going to write that ‘This is the worst car one can ever think of buying. No one should buy this piece of junk’.

If you cannot deliver upto the expectations of your customers then you should right away quit manufacturing such junk pieces so that unnecessary problems donot add burden to customer’s lives. Regards Rahul Dabas 9911XXXXXX
