Kia Tasman

• The Tasman sports vertically oriented headlights and C-shaped LED DRLs. The latter are integrated into the cladding above the front wheel arches.
• A familiar tiger nose grille is as seen on all new Kia vehicles with a massive front bumper and hood, lending it an imposing stance.

• The USP is the cargo bed offered in four configurations — Single Decker, Double Decker, Sports Bar, and Ladder Rack.
• There are two 12.3-inch screens inside, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other being the touchscreen infotainment.
• Then, there is a large panoramic sunroof, folding table on the centre console, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker Harmon Kardon premium audio system; among plenty of other features.

• The petrol Kia Tasman is powered by a 2.5-litre engine producing 277bhp and 421Nm torque.
• On the other hand, the 2.2-litre diesel unit churns out 207bhp and 441Nm torque.
• The petrol mill comes mated to an eight-speed automatic as standard, while the diesel gets the option of either an eight-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox.

• The Tasman’s X-Line and X-Pro variants get all-wheel-drive as standard, while it is offered as an option in the base trim.
• There are three driving modes for the AWD variants including Eco, Smart, and Sport. Moreover, four terrain modes include Desert, Mud, Snow, and Rock.
• Furthermore, the X-Pro variant also gets an automatically engaging rear electronic locking differential and an X-Trek mode.
• Like most of the cars in Kia’s line-up, the Tasman also gets the entire ADAS suite.

The crash safety ratings for the Tasman have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to receive a five-star rating soon.
